Uncover the Truth About Ozone Air Purifiers Before You Breathe It In
Ozone-generating air purifiers are often marketed as cutting-edge solutions for neutralising indoor pollutants, bacteria, and odours, but growing scientific evidence reveals they may do more harm than good.
This expert report explores how ozone air purifiers actually function, the serious respiratory health risks they pose, and why organisations like the EPA, WHO, CDC, and CARB advise against their use in occupied indoor spaces. From ineffective pathogen removal at safe levels to the creation of toxic secondary pollutants, this guide covers it all.

Key Takeaways:
Ozone purifiers often exceed safe exposure levels indoors
Ozone can react with common indoor chemicals to produce formaldehyde and ultrafine particles
Children, the elderly, and people with asthma are especially vulnerable
Safer, proven alternatives include HEPA and activated carbon filters
Leading health agencies strongly discourage ozone generator use in occupied environments
